Through a mix of slides and videos Mark Green (Teesbay Pilot) and Paul Brooks (PD Ports) demonstrated how they ensured the safe delivery of the Brent Delta Platform to the Able Yard for decommissioning.
Using their experience, understanding of the Port and it’s environment and having accurate port ENCs, they were able to make dynamic decisions with confidence as the planned route had to be refined due to changing weather conditions, tidal windows and vessel draught.
