NEW Marine Data Management for Ports course
In response to the growing interest in ‘digitalisation’, we have developed a new training course carefully tailored towards marine professionals working in the Ports and Harbours sector who want to build a knowledge of becoming ‘smart’. The course, which covers the fundamentals of what is required and is delivered online over several days, demonstrates how effective information management can improve an organisation’s efficiency in data gathering, storage and analysis. It will ensure the student understands data use with respect to corporate risk, re-use, audit and traceability whilst at the same time minimising costs. The course introduces Data Governance, Infrastructure, Lifecycles, Standards, and Quality, and relates these topics to meeting specific occupational needs such as those under the Port Marine Safety Code.
