Port-Log on the BBC!
We were delighted to see our data management platform, Port-Log, featuring so prominently on the BBC programme: ‘What Britain Buys and Sells in a Day'. During a discussion with the presenter, Ed Balls, ABP Southampton's Harbour Master, Phil Buckley, explained why having access to real-time environmental conditions is so important to the port. Air Quality
Air Quality is an increasingly important environmental concern and gathering and submitting evidence based on emission data is now a legal requirement for many ports. Alongside climate change, for UK ports, Air Quality is a high priority following the introduction of the UK Government’s Clean Air Strategy in 2019.
