Trust in Data? OceanWise Workshop
Our popular annual London workshop was held on the 26th of November 2019 at the School of Economic Science. This year’s theme was ‘Trust in Data?’ and was a brilliant day full of interesting talks from 7 great speakers including James Cutler’s Key Note on Open Data, a thought provoking look at data crime and how we can better protect ourselves and our organisations and some enlightening research on emissions in Ports and the potential effect on health. With a full room of delegates, coming from a wide variety of backgrounds, there was a lot of great discussions had during the day.
There was also a brand new optional session right at the end where delegates got the chance to spend some time 1 on 1 with OceanWise discussing their own Data Management / GIS challenges.
